The Pro-Elec Remote Control Socket Set, uses radio frequency to control your wall sockets with the remote control provided. 

Because the remote control uses radio frequency, it will work at a distance up to 30mtr, even through walls and floors. This makes it ideal for switching off and on wall sockets that are hidden behind furniture or difficult to reach. 

How to use: 

The transmitter has three buttons with numbered 1, 2 and 3. The button 1 on the transmitter controls the supplied socket receiver. Buttons 2 and 3 are for additional sockets which are available separately. Adding sockets only requires the programming operation, and then the transmitter and socket receiver are matched, and can be operated independently of the other sockets without any interference. The socket receiver is operated via the remote control. Each push of the numbered button on the transmitter will turn on or turn off corresponding socket.

How can I switch the socket on or off without using the remote control?

The socket has a manual on/off button on the side, which can be used to switch it on or off without the remote control. 

How can I add more sockets to the remote control?

You can buy additional sockets separately and program them to the remote control. To do this, you need to press and hold the button on the socket until the LED flashes, then press the corresponding button on the remote control within 5 seconds. The socket will beep to confirm the pairing.

What kind of battery does the remote control use and how long does it last?

The remote control uses a 23A battery, which is included in the pack. The battery life depends on the usage frequency, but it can last up to 12 months under normal use.
