The Owl SCT-T16 CT Sensor is for all Owl Wireless Energy Monitors. Compatible with: Owl Intuition Owl Micro+ CM180 Owl +USB CM160 Owl CM119 Owl CM113
For use on Economy Seven, multi tariff and 3 phase installations. The new standard CT sensors fit cables up to 16mm diameter (approx 6/10th of an inch, and will handle loads up to 120 amps.
For Duel Tariff Installations such as Economy Seven where 2 Electricity meters are installed you will need 1 extra sensor. (Some modern Economy Seven installation now use just 1 meter to record both tariffs. If this is the case an extra sensor is not required)
With a 3 phase installations you will need 2 extra sensors. For 3 phase installations, please check the size and power rating, as a larger sensor is available for non domestic installation.
A larger sensor is available to fit cables up to 24mm (1 inch) a circumference of 75mm (3 inches) and rated to 250 amps per phase.
