This is a simple way to reduce your water consumption. Its effective because its prominent in the bathroom, and the sand is highly visible, and is a simple way to show how much time you have left before you need to turn the shower off. Its been effective to get us to make better use of the time in the shower. Our water consumption has decreased by about 10m3 per year. Our first one lasted about 2 years before it was broken by being knocked about. Why don't the water companies issue these for free to all households?

If you find the shower timer falls from the tiles; try sticking it to a smooth glass panel instead. The suction cup is large enough to support the shower timer so the problem may be caused by the tiles not being as smooth as they look!Pack Contents:

Bought this to try and encourage a member of our family to get out the shower a bit quicker and stop wasting our water!!!! I can't comment on whether it has worked for that but not had any issues with the timer itself. I've learnt it is best not to be directly under the shower stream. Will report back
